INTERNATIONAL ARRIVAL

St.Gallen can be reached from Zurich airport by public transport within an hour without changing trains. Geneva or Munich airports are also served by public transport (3-4 hours, depending on the connection).

It is very easy to catch a train at Zürich airport to St. Gallen. Please find below an example video that shows instructions how to catch a train at the airport. Bear in mind, that the user in the video is going to Zürich main station, so you just pick St. Gallen main station instead.

ARRIVAL & PARKING

Location

St.Gallen is easily accessible from all directions: via the A1 motorway, the Geneva-Zurich-Munich railway axis or Zurich Airport and the St.Gallen-Altenrhein airfield. The exhibition center is located in the middle of the city.

Arrival by public transport

Directions to St.Gallen train station or St.Gallen-St.Fiden:  SBB timetable

From St.Gallen main station

  • Take bus number 3 (Heiligkreuz) to the “Olma Messen” or “Langgass” stop
  • Take bus number 4 (Wittenbach train station) to the “Olma Messen” or “Langgass” stop.
  • Take bus number 6 (Heiligkreuz) to the “Olma Messen” or “Rosenheimstrasse” stop.

From St.Gallen-St.Fiden train station

5 minutes walk, follow signs

 

Arrival by car

From the A1 motorway, use the St.Gallen-St.Fiden exit (No. 82) and follow the signs for Olma Messen St.Gallen.
